PhraseExpress manages frequently used text snippets for quick insertion into any program. Text snippets and canned responses are organized in a customizable folder structure and can be triggered by hotkeys or by entering text abbreviations. Phrase menus save users from memorizing trigger shortcuts by suggesting phrases after typing the first letters of the desired text. PhraseExpress can share boilerplate templates in a client-/server architecture with Microsoft SQL server and Citrix/TerminalServer support. Access restrictions can be configured based on Microsoft ActiveDirectory. Text snippets can be restricted to specific programs or users, workgroups or domains. PhraseExpress supports cloud synchronization to share phrases with other PhraseExpress clients for Windows, Mac or iPhone/iPad installations over the internet. The Clipboard Manager keeps a history of clipboard contents for later access. Powerful macro functions can add dynamic contents to static phrases such as the current date, counters or additional manual input. Conditional statements, loops, variables and string operations enable users to create advanced text automation procedures. The separate automation software "Macro Recorder" can be integrated into PhraseExpress to organize and to trigger automation procedures by hotkeys or autotext. The built-in document generator can create complete documents by defining a list of phrases with just a few mouse click, making it an ideal solution to create legal documents or medical patient reports. PhraseExpress can import external text, bitmap, Excel, Word files, Outlook emails with powerful text analysis algorithms. The PhraseExpress Outlook Add-In allows to autocomplete recipient's names and to suggest answering templates based on the email context. The optional portable edition can be executed from USB thumb drive. The freeware edition is free-of-charge for personal users.
