Altsoft Xml2PDF is a Microsoft .NET based family of server and desktop products for publishing various XML documents such as XSL-FO, SVG, XHTML or HTML, Microsoft Office Word (Doc, WordML 2003, DocX or Word 2007 Xml), Excel (.xls, .xlsx, .xlsm, .xlsb) and PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx, .pps, .ppsx) to print ready output formats including PDF, XAML, XPS and raster graphics (TIFF, GIF, JPEG, PNG, WMF). Merging several documents, digital signature, compressions, document encryption, interactivity, font embedding and subsetting, advanced color management and many other features are supported. Altsoft Xml2PDF Workstation 2009 is a .NET-based formatting engine for converting various page layout formats such as XSL-FO (or XSL+XSLT), SVG, XHTML and Word, Excel, PowerPoint into print-ready PDF, XPS, PS or TIFF. Requires .NET Framework 1.1 or 2.0 or higher. Available as a freeware UI or commercial API for server use. Altsoft Xml2PDF Workstation 2009 is based on Xml2PDF Server 2009 formatting engine and brings its power to the desktop of your personal computer. The new key features are: PowerPoint and Excel input support, SVG output support, digital signatures in PDF and XPS, new intermediate AltDOC vector format is provided, complete HTML (including new features of CSS 3.0) support, principal refactoring and optimization, essential improvements in XSL-FO, SVG, XTHML and Word 2003, 2007 support (including improved tables and floats formatting algorithms and new fonts support technology).
