I think I might have solved the problem by disabling the plugin due to there being TWO of them running! I disabled the second one (under SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash) because it was just slightly older than the first one (under Chrome\Application). Here's the list of the two. As you can see, they both have "Disable" as the clickable option. Now the second one is "Enable" due to it not being active:
